Alternative Seller Reference
The Alternative Seller Reference field is accessable from the relist options tab of the listing input screen. The Alternative Sellers Reference field is provided to allow you to assign an alternative sellers reference or other identifying information to your auctions. Assigning an alternative sellers
reference can assist in:
- Identifying Lot Numbers
- Identifying different auctions for the same product
- Ensuring the correct item is supplied to your customers
- Tracking and packaging your auctions
- Providing a unique reference number or key to in-house systems or databases
This may be particularly useful to those sellers that have a number of items that are almost identical but different levels of quality, for example when selling a second-hand record where one
item has more scratching or wear than another.
The Alternative Sellers Reference field is primarily a tool for assisting you in organizing your
auctions to ensure your unique or specific auction items can be matched against a particular item.
