Auction Status: Template
A
template status is assigned to an auction record that has been created
with the template option ticked. Auction records with a status of
template will always be ignored by listing or relisting functions.
To create a template, simply tick the Template check box while creating or editing your auction.
Templates
are mostly used to maintain a catalog or library of listings for future
use that will not disappear as listings can do on websites after 45
days.
They are a way to manage the creation of similar or identical
products on a regular basis with a minimum of effort. The normal
process would be to create a template for one of your products then use
copy to pending to create a pending auction ready to be listed or on
which you can perform further editing.
