Delete Auctions with Closed Status
In order to minimize the number of auction records in the Auctionitis database and thereby reduce the effort required to manage your auction and auction records you can customize Auctionitis to automatically remove auction records associated with the relisting process.
Delete Auctions from Auctionitis when Relisted
Ticking this checkbox causes Auctionitis to automatically remove an auction that has been successfully relisted from the Auctionitis database. The new record with a current status will not be deleted and it will show 'relisted from auction xxxxxxxxx' in the status bar of the input screen.
Remove Auctions from Auction Site (Trade Me) when Relisted
Ticking this checkbox causes Auctionitis to remove an auction that has been successfully relisted from your "My Trade Me" auction listings. This function will remove both sold and unsold items from "My Trade Me".
Delete Auctions with Closed Status
Ticking this checkbox causes Auctionitis to automatically remove auctions from the Auctionitis database when they no longer exist in the current, sold or unsold auction lists on Trade Me.
When this tickbox is checked the Update Database, Process All and Run Schedule processes will cause auctions that are determined to be Closed to be deleted from the database. Closed auctions are auctions that are still in the Auctionitis database but are no longer on Trade Me.
Please Note: We advise leaving the delete auctions with closed status checkbox unticked and reviewing an deleting closed auctions in the Auctionitis database regularly.
Occasionally an intermittent connectivity problem may occur when updating your Database resulting in all your auctions being set to 'closed'. If this tick box is selected then all your auctions will be deleted from Auctionitis.
If this tick box is not ticked and this problem occurs simply run another update database and your auctions will be returned to their correct status.
