A compress database option is available on the Utilities menu. Always make a back up before compressing the database.

This option may be run if the size of the Auctionitis.mdb file has become excessive or you regularly add/delete records in the database or are finding Auctionitis running slower than usual.

It is expected that all normal backup precautions will have been taken before running this process in order to allow recovery in the event of a problem.

You should avoid shutting down Windows or ending this task abnormally before it completes as this may render your database unusable.
