Error: Invalid or Expired Licence Key
Error - Licence Key Invalid for Trade Me ID Error - Licence Key has Expired Setting Regional & Language options to New Zealand Format
There are a couple of different errors that can result in keys not validating. The 'Reason' as marked in the picture below with a 1 will help identify/resolve key validation problems.
Error - Licence Key Invalid for Trade Me ID

This error message indicates that either the Key or the licence ID has been entered incorrectly.
Check:
- There are no 'spaces' before or after the licence ID or key
- The username is entered correctly as per the licence key request, including hyphens, underscores and any other characters
- The key is entered exactly as per on the licence key email. Cutting and pasting it,
- ensuring no extra spaces are copied is the fastest way to enter this. Remember that the 0's are zero's and to check that you have U's or V's correctly entered
Error - Licence Key has Expired

This error message indicates that either your free trial or paid subscription has expired or your PC regional and language options are not set to NZ format.
If the key has not expired check:
- The date is entered as dd/mm/yyyy not dd/mm/yy or any other variation. For e
- xample the date must be 01/01/2009 not 1/1/09
- Your regional and language options are set correctly
Setting Regional & Language options to New Zealand Format
To open Regional and Language Options
- Start >Control Panel
- >Clock, Language & Region
- >Change the date, time or number format


Use the drop down menus to select the options as shown above.
- Format: English (New Zealand)
- Short Date: d/mm/yyyy
- Long Date: ddd, d MMMM yyyy

- Select the Administrative Tab and click copy settings
- Click Apply
- Click OK
This ensures
all other users of Auctionitis on the PC will have the dates configured
correctly also.
