Exporting Data with XML
Click on the Auctionitis "Click the "Export to XML" option and a screen will appear prompting you to enter a file name. We recommend naming the file your username and the date e.g. trademeproducts31052010.xml

Enter the file name in the XML Output File Name dialog box and press save. You will then be presented with the XML Export Manager Screen

There are several options to work your way through depending on what products are to be exported.
- XML Output File: Enter a description of the file into the description field. This can be something meaningful to you such as the ID, date or other details
- Zip file Options: Tick the Create a Zip File box to save your xml document into a zip fil to save space. Photos are automatically transferred across with your auctions
- XML Export Options: Select "Export Records using Selection Criteria" and the next section of the XML Manager will be available.
- Export Selection Criteria: There are four options you can tick and turn on to further define what auction records you want to export. These are Auction Status, Relist Status, Product Type and Auction Cycle.
- Include Held Records: Select the appropriate option for your listings and click Export. Held Records have the red tick in the auction console and this is to signify that you do not want the record listed/relisted on TradeMe until you remove the hold option on the auction records.
Click the export button. When completed you will see a message "XML Export Operation completed successfully". Click OK.
Locating your Exported File on your PC
The XML/Zip file will be located on your PC in the directory that you instructed Auctionitis to save it to. In the example above the file was saved to c:/program files/Auctionitis/output.
