Listing: Load All
Once
the auction has been saved in the Auctionitis auction database it can
be uploaded to Trade Me to start a new live auction. This will move the
auction from a status of pending to current. The current listing will
have the Trade Me auction number assigned to it in Auctionitis.
Starting the Load All Process
The
auction upload process can be started in a number of ways, but the
simplest way is to use the Load All function. This process can be
started in three ways:
- From the Trade Me Menu by clicking Load All

-
The Load All button in the Auctionitis tool bar

-
By using the Ctrl-L hot key combination on the keyboard
What does the Load All Process do?
When the Load All process is started the Auctionitis progress monitor window will appear on the screen.

1. The Load All function will:
- Create
a new Trade Me auction for all listings in Auctionitis with a status of
Clone where a cycle is not assigned to the clone listing
- Upload
new picture files and if necessary check picture files on Trade Me. As
part of the Auction Upload process any new picture files will be
uploaded to Trade Me. Read about Photo Management
- Load all auctions with a status of pending
- Auctions that have been held will not be loaded
2. Task Progress
- Shows the progress/status of the loading process
- When the load all process has completed the progress monitor window will disappear
Checking Auctions have loaded successfully
Set the site filter to Trade Me and the status filter to current

If loaded
successfully the listings will have:
- A status of current
- Show the Trade Me reference number
- The estimated close date and time based on the auction duration
entered in the auction (not pictured)
If the auctions do not appear to be current then set the site filter to Trade Me and the status filter to pending

If an auction failed to load it will remain in Auctionitis with a pending status. Check:
- Is the auction held? If so unhold the auction and run the load all function again
- Does
the auction have a cycle assigned to it? If so, remove the cycle and
run the load all function again or run the Trade Me >Load Cycle menu
option
There are several reasons auctions may fail to load to Trade Me. Please refer to the Trade Me Listing troubleshooting guide.
Auctionitis can be configured to load auctions is a particular order by using the Load Sequence feature.
It
is possible to cause a delay between auctions loading to prevent
auctions completing at the same time. This is done by setting a drip feed interval. This is located in the File >Options >Processing menu.
The loading process can be automatically scheduled to occur at specific times/dates.
Create
a directory on your PC's hard drive (not desktop or documents and
settings) such as c:/tm and create sub folders if required to store all
pictures needed for Auctionitis/Trade Me. Leave the pictures in this
directory for as long as you have the listings in Auctionitis. If moved
auctions may load to Trade Me without photos.
