Relist: Processing Options
In File >Options >Processing there are two options to make
relisting neater and that will keep your database and Trade Me 'My
Trade Me section' more compact and efficient.

- Delete Auctions from Auctionitis when relisted:
Ticking this checkbox causes Auctionitis to automatically remove an
auction that has been successfully relisted from the Auctionitis
database. The new record with a current status will not be deleted and
it will show 'relisted from auction xxxxxxxxx' in the status bar of the
input screen
- Remove Auctions from Auction Site when relisted:
Ticking this checkbox causes Auctionitis to remove an auction that has
been successfully relisted from your sold or unsold section on Trade
Me. This option is shipped turned off. This will remove both sold and
unsold items from 'my Trade Me' so use with caution
- When
all the required changes have been made, click OK. Clicking Cancel
will exit the options form without saving any changes that have been
made.
If you have not selected to automatically delete auctions from Auctionitis when relisted
then unsold/sold auctions that were relisted will have a status of
relisted, and the new listing will have a status of current.
Open any auction with a relisted status to view the status bar which
contains message indicating the reference number of the new auction.
Open any auction auction with a current status and if it has been
relisted from a sold or unsold auction in Auctionitis, the status bar
will contain a message indicating the reference number of the old
auction.
Auctions with a relisted status are for reference purposes only and we
strongly recommend either configuring automatically delete auctions
from Auctionitis when relisted, or deleting them manually on a weekly
basis.
The File >View Log menu option enables viewing of auctions that
relisted and their reference numbers. The log will also contain
details of any auctions that were not relisted.
Notes about Relisting
Trade
Me listings that were listed longer than approximately 40 days ago are
unable to be relisted. Use the copy to new function to create pending
listings, then the load all or load selected functions to list these
auction again.
Run an update database before commencing a relist
selected to ensure that any recent fixed price offers that have been
accepted are taken into account and an item is not relisted that has
sold.
