Relisting: From Template
This function has largely been superceeded by the ability to select and update listing detail in bulk.
Although you can edit an auction that has been loaded to Trade Me prior
to relisting, using a template and amending the relist details allows
you relist multiple auctions from the one single template.
This is handy if you have 10 listings for one single item and want to
change the price or another piece of data on relisting. Simply edit the
template and ensure that the auction is set to 'relist from template.
Setting Up Relist from Template
- Right click >copy to new the listing you wish to use/modify as the template. This will put the copy into pending
- Edit the newly created pending auction as required
- Tick the template check box in the processing options section of the new auction
 - Click save
- Open the original auction listing that was just copied from in edit mode
- Select the relist options tab
- Tick the relist from template check box
 - Select the title of the newly created template auction in the templates drop down list and click save
When the auction is next relisted using Auctionitis the auction details
from the template will be used instead of the original values contained
in the auction on Trade Me.
If
you have a lot of templates you may want to give the new auction a
temporary title to enable you to find it in the list easily; for
example using a title of @@@ relist 0613045 will not only make the
title easy to find it should put it at the top of the list of your
templates. Make sure you go back and change the Auction Title
afterwards if you do this.
