Relisting: Relist All
Once an auction is no longer current on Trade Me it becomes either sold or unsold. Running an update database will update Auctionitis to match Trade Me.
A fixed price offer can be made and/or the auction is now eligible for relisting which creates a new current listing on Trade Me for the item with a new auction number.
Starting the Relisting Process
The auction relist process can be started in a number of ways, but the simplest way is to use the Relist All function. This process can be started in three ways:
-
From the Trade Me Menu by clicking Relist All
 - The Load All button in the Auctionitis tool bar

- The Ctrl-L hot key combination on the keyboard
What does the Relist All process do?
The Relist All process attempts to relist any sold or unsold auctions in the Auctionitis database on Trade Me based on the relist status of the auction in Auctionitis. Auctions that are under offer or held in Auctionitis will not be relisted.
- The Auctionitis Progress Monitor window will appear on the screen

- The sold and unsold auction data will be updated (this is the same as an update database) to ensure all auction statuses are up to date
- This is done to ensure that as many auctions as possible are considered for relisting at the time of the relist process and to minimise the likelihood of an item being relisted that has since sold on fixed price offer
- Check picture files and upload any new or expired photos to Trade Me
- Relist all eligible auctions. Auctions that were sold or unsold in Auctionitis will now have a status of relisted, and a new listing in current will appear
- When the relist process has completed the progress monitor window will disappear
