Search & Replace Text
Text in the auction title or description can now be searched for and
replaced quickly and easily. This is handy for updating or removing a
variety of information from listings rather than having to do them one
by one.
Firstly select the records to be updated. Then select the Tools >Replace Text in Selected Items menu option.
The Search and Replace box will appear
- Search For: Enter the word or string of words to search for and be replaced
- Replace With: Enter the word or string or words to replace the search terms
- Update: Description: Tick to search and replace on the auction description
- Update: Title: Tick to search and replaced on the auction title
- Replace: Replaces text
- Cancel: Cancels out of search and replace
The
search for will currently only search on a single continuous line of
text. For example: "This iPod case comes in green and pink" can be
search and replaced on but "This iPod case comes in:
Green
Pink"
is
currently not search/replaceable all at once. Each line could be
search/replaced however. This feature is currently being improved.
