Standard Terms: Remove
If you have imported existing listings from Trade Me (or cut and paste)
and these have terms and conditions already in the description box,
these will need removing before entering new ones into Auctionitis to
prevent two sets of conditions loading on a listing.
There are two ways to remove existing terms and conditions from
auctions. This will only remove them from the listings in Auctionitis,
not existing listings on Trade Me.
Editing Individual Auction Descriptions
If your standard terms and conditions on your imported listings vary
(ie are not exactly the same word for word) you may need to edit each
auction individually and remove them as a one off task. To do this,
start Auctionitis and double click or edit each listing and remove the
text from the auction description.
Using the Search and Replace Function
If your standard terms and conditions on your imported listings do not
vary (ie are exactly the same word for word) you can use the search and
replace function which may enable you to 'search for' your standard
terms and conditions within the description and replace them with a
"space" effectively deleting the text. This function may not work on
all forms of terms and conditions. See the Search and Replace help
section for further information.
