Stock On Hand Across Multiple Listings
If
a number of auctions are being loaded for the same product the the
stock on hand figures are also updated for all auctions with the
same product code when a sale is made or when stock on hand is altered
in the auction data entry screen. The items must all have the identical
product code for this to happen.
It is strongly recommended that the product code feature be used in
conjunction with the stock on hand if it is to be used as anything more
sophisticated than a "relist X times" function. This will allow the
basis for an inventory system.
Using the number stored in Auctionitis as a reorder or a stock level checkpoint can be a good compromise.
