System Requirements
Auctionitis is compatible with the following operating systems:
- Windows 2000 & XP
- Windows Vista 32&64bit (all versions)**
- Windows 7 RC1
- Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008
Tradar is compatible with the following operating systems:
- Windows 2000 & XP
- Windows Vista 32 & 64 Bit
- Windows 7 32 & 64 Bit
- Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008
Tradar requires the following Microsoft Pakages to be pre-installed:
- Microsoft .Net 3.5 or later
- Microsoft SQL Server or Server Express 2005 Service Pack 3
- Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
These may already be installed on your PC. They will be automatically downloaded and installed using the Tradar Required Packages Installer provided by Auctionitis.
Running PC/Windows Software on a Mac
Auctionitis can be run successfully on a Mac via Bootcamp, Parallels or by running a virtual machine on the Mac. Please contact us if you need any assistance with this.
Web Based Auctionitis & Tradar
Auctionitis and Tradar can be run as hosted applications on the web. Please contact us for further information.
Hardware Recommendations
Auctionitis
- Broadband - recommended but not essential. Auctionitis is a fully offline auction tool. Maximum broadband upload speeds will save time and dramatically reduce any issues due to restricted capacity at TradeMe's peak times
- Ram/Memory - 1GB minimum. 2+ Recommended, especially on PC's running Vista, Win 7. Ram will increase speed significantly.
- Hard Drive Space - 60MB minimum
- Other - Daily back ups of all your business data is essential whether you are a small hobby seller or online selling is your life!
Tradar
- Broadband - is essential as Tradar is ideally an 'always on' application to process your sales 24/7.

Validating your Auctionitis Key
Enter the licence key exactly as shown, including entering the date in the format dd/mm/yyyy
If you unable to validate your key please ensure your PC is set to New Zealand Short Date Format.
- Control Panel > Regional & Language Options >Set Standards & Formats to New Zealand (English)
- Click Customise > Date > Ensure Short Date is set to dd/mm/yyyy format
- Set Location to New Zealand
You're done!
When you purchase Auctionitis you will receive a new key and retain your trial data. The free trial does not have any locked features. You will not lose any data upgrading from a free to paid licence.
