If you do not have .NET or MySQL installed or do not wish to manage the installation of these individually, the Tradar pre-installer will download and install the necessary components prior to installing Tradar. If you already have any of the components in the preinstaller, Tradar will recognise this and skip that part of the process.
Make sure you have the latest service pack and critical updates for the version of Windows that you are running. To find recent security updates, visit Windows Update.
Click Save and save the file to your hard drive.
When the file has downloaded double click it to begin installation
| 1. | Click Next. |
| 2. | Read the details thoroughly and click Next to continue. |
| 3. | A box will appear showing you the downloads in progress, let this run to completion. The URL may change as different programs are downloaded. When the downloads are complete setup will configure the components for installation. |
| 4. | Windows will prepare for installation. |
| 5. | The installation process will install any necessary components required to run Tradar. Follow the prompts on screen. |
| 6. | When screens appear that may offer options to install various components simply click next and install the default options. |
| 7. | Click Next and then click Install to begin Installation. |
| 8. | A message may appear during the installation of SQL Server Management Studio Express Set Up saying that your hardware does not meet the minimum requirements - in most cases this will not be an issue so continue with installation. |
| 9. | When Installation is complete click Finish. |
| 10. | Reboot your PC |
You may be told that My Sql Service Pack two is required - choose to ignore this and continue with the installation. This can be downloaded at a later date if required but it is not necessary to complete installation at this time.
