Product Types can be entered from the Edit > Product Types Menu
The Product Type maintenance screen will appear
Click in the fields to enter data and save when completed or cancel to exit out without saving.

Click the red x to delete the product type from this screen |
Product Name |
The product name (in the above example this is DogFood or CatFood) |
Product Description |
A detailed product description |
Order Field |
Change the number in the order field to cause the product types to appear in order in the drop down box in the Sales Transaction Maintenance Menu Screen. |
