The Tradar program will be used to track sales from a variety of sources but is intended to be used primarily by businesses selling goods on TradeMe.  The major input source will be the sales data available in CSV format from TradeMe.

 

The major functions offered by Tradar will be:

 

Sorting and filtering of current sales transactions
Creation and maintenance of a comprehensive customer database
Sales status assignment and tracking of individual sales transactions
Automatic email responses during sales process
Simple access to generic boilerplate emails
Identification of Paid/Unpaid transactions
Identification of transactions with updated information
Provision of product information for order picking
Tracking of TradeMe refund process
Placing of feedback on TradeMe
Customer Invoicing

 

Tradar will be designed to support a multi-user scenario. Functional access by users will be controlled and secured using a role-based methodology. Client access to the database may be either on the same local machine or via network connectivity.

 

The central access to application functionality will be from the Tradar console, which will be implemented as a Windows MDI (Multiple Document Interface) program.
